A typical model of vases in the Kangxi reign of the Qing dynasty, this vase has two sizes: the larger ones are around sixty-six centimeters tall and the small ones only a few inches. The vase has a flaring mouth and a short neck. The body tapers from the broad shoulder to a splayed foot. It was made mainly in the official kilns either in monochrome glazes or with fine underglaze blue decoration.
